본 규정은 "REGLAMENTO PRELIMINAR OFICIAL TANGO BA INTERNACIONAL 2025"에 의거하여 작성되었으며, 한국에서 열리는 Pacific Tango Championship의 기본 규정으로 적용됩니다.
These regulations are based on the "REGLAMENTO PRELIMINAR OFICIAL TANGO BA INTERNACIONAL 2025" and will be applied as the basic regulations to Pacific Tango Championship held in Korea.
[등록 및 인증]
1. 대회 참가자는 예선 시작일 기준으로 만 18세 이상이어야 하며, 예선 영향 지역내에서 최소 1년 이상 거주한 사실을 유효한 법적 문서로 증명할 수 있어야 합니다.
2. 다른 대회에서 실격 또는 경고를 받은 이력이 있는 자는 기본 원칙은 참가를 못하도록 되어 있습니다.
3. 대회 시작 전 6개월 동안 참가자가 대회 심사위원 중 한 명 이상과의 전문적, 개인적, 또는 업무적인 관계를 맺었는지 여부를 자신 신고해야 합니다.
(a) 심사위원 중 한 명 이상과의 개인적 또는 감정적인 관계를 유지한 경우,
(b) 심사위원 중 한 명 이상에게 개인 레슨을 받은 경우,
(c) 땅고 에세나리오(Tango Escenario) 안무를 심사위원과 함께 만들거나 검토하거나 준비한 경우,
(d) 커플의 한 명 또는 모두가 심사위원 중 한 명 이상 고용하거나 고용된 경우 (공연이나 수업을 포함한 동일한 행사에 참여한 경우),
(e) 땅고 에세나리오 부문에 출전하는 커플은 예선 주최측 구성원 중 누구라도 관여(안무/검토 등)된 작품을 발표할 수 없습니다.
[REGISTRATION & ACCREDITATION]
1. The participants have to be over 18 years of age, as of the start date of the local competition, may register for the competition, provided they can prove with valid legal documents a minimum of one (1) year of residence within the area of influence of the Preliminary.
2. Participants who have been disqualified or eliminated in previous editions, either in a Preliminary Competition or the Dance World Championship, especially if it was due to serious non-compliance with competition rules, will also be ineligible to compete.
3. The participants must state and declare whether, in the six (6) months leading up to the competition, they have had any professional, personal, or working relationship with any of the competition judges. This includes,
(a) maintaining a personal or emotional connection with one or more of the judges
(b) taking private lessons from one or more of the judges
(c) presenting a Tango Escenario choreography that was created, reviewed, or prepared with one or more of the judges
(d) having one or both dancers in the couple hire or be hired by one or more of the judges to participate in the same event, including exhibitions or classes
(e) In the case of Tango Escenario, competing couples may not present choreographies created, reviewed, or prepared by any member of the Preliminary Organization
[대회 진행]
1. 땅고 에세나리오 부문에서는 각 커플이 개별적으로 경쟁하며, 커플이 선택한 곡을 발표한다. 음악의 최대 길이는 4분이며, 인증 절차 중에 디지털 형식(mp3, USB 드라이브)으로 예선 주최측에 제출해야 합니다. 이때, 참가 커플은 발표할 작품의 안무가 이름도 함께 명시해야 합니다.
2. 출전하는 커플들은 다음과 같은 사유로 실격될 수 있습니다.
(a) 규정 조항을 준수하지 않을 경우,
(b) 대회 중 정치적 또는 종교적 발언이나 표현(어떠한 방식으로든)을 하여 관객이나 예선 주최측에 불쾌감을 주거나 대회의 진행에 방해가 될 경우,
(c) 비윤리적 행동이나 예선 및/또는 2025년 탱고 부에노스아이레스 세계 챔피언십의 이미지를 훼손하거나 관객에게 불쾌감을 주는 행동을 할 경우,
(d) 대회 시설 내외에서 참가자, 심사위원, 스태프, 일반 관객을 대상으로 신체적 및/또는 언어적 폭력을 행사할 경우,
3. 대회 실시간에 분쟁이 발생할 경우, 분쟁에 대한 최종 결정은 감독관이 BA문화부 및 조직위원회에 협력하여 내리며, 이때의 모든 결정은 최종적이며 이의 제기를 할 수 없고, 참가자는 등록시, 이 조건을 자동으로 수락한 것으로 간주됩니다.
4. 심사위원이 대회 참가자와 최소 6개월 이내에 전문적 또는 개인적 관계를 맺었거나 개인 레슨을 진행한 경우, 해당 심사위원은 그 참가자에 대해 점수를 부여할 수 없으며, 이는 심사위원의 자발적 선언과 참가자가 등록 양식을 작성할 때 제공한 정보를 바탕으로 판단됩니다.
5. 대회 주최측은, 상황에 따라 추가 곡을 춤을 추도록 결정할 수 있으며, 참가자는 이를 거부할 수 없습니다.
6. 결승 단계에서 1위가 동점일 경우, 커플들은 땅고 데 삐스타 부문에서는 1곡 또는 2곡을 추가로 추거나, 땅고 에세나리오 부문에서는 다시 발표하여 심사위원의 투표로 우승 커플을 결정하도록 합니다.
7. 대회간 발생되는 모든 문제에 대한 최종 결정은 감독관, 부에노스아이레스 시정부 문화부의 기관 대표자, 그리고 예선 주최측이 함께 내리도록 규정되어 있습니다.
8. 대회 등록은 참가자는 자신의 기록된 영상, 사진등의 자료 사용에 대해 명시적이고 취소할 수 없는 동의를 의미합니다.
9. 상기 동의는 참가자가 예선 주최측, DGFNC, 이미지 기록에 대한 권리를 주장하는 개인이나 기관으로부터 어떠한 보수나 권리가 없음을 의미합니다.
[COMPETITION PROCESS]
1. In the Tango Escenario category, each couple will compete individually, dancing to a piece they choose. The performance must not exceed four (4) minutes in duration and must be submitted to the Organization in digital format (mp3 file on a pendrive) during accreditation. At this time, the couple must also declare the name(s) of the choreographer(s) who created, reviewed, or worked on their choreography.
2. The participants may be disqualified if they:
(a) Do not comply with the regulatory provisions.
(b) Make any political or religious statement during the competition that could be offensive to the public or the organization, or that could affect the event's development.
(c) Engage in any unethical behavior or actions that damage the image of the Preliminary or the World Dance Championship 2025, or cause discomfort to the audience.
(d) Engage in physical and/or verbal aggression, whether directed at participants, jurors, staff members, or the general public.
3. In the event of a dispute during the competition, the final decision on the dispute will be made by the supervisor in cooperation with the BA Culture Department and the Organization. All decisions at this time are final and cannot be appealed. All participants are considered to have automatically accepted these terms and conditions upon registration.
4. Any judge who has had a professional or personal relationship, or has taught any of the competition participants within at least 6 months prior to the event, must refrain from scoring that participant. This will be determined based on the voluntary declarations of the judges and the information provided by the participants when completing the registration.
5. The competition organizer may decide to dance additional songs depending on the situation, and the participants cannot refuse this.
6. In the event of a tie for first place in the final round, the couples will need to break the tie by either dancing one (1) or two (2) additional songs in the Tango de Pista category, or performing their choreography again in the Tango Escenario category, until the jury's vote determines the winning couple.
7. The decision on all matters arising during the competition, will be made by the Observer, the institutional representative of the Ministry of Culture, the Organization of the Preliminary.
8. By registering for the competition, the participant gives explicit and irrevocable consent to the use of his/her recorded video, photographs, etc.
9. This consent does not entitle participants to any payment from the Preliminary Organization and/or the DGFNC, or from any individual or organization claiming rights to the image recordings. This clause also includes, but is not limited to, photographic material published or used for promotional and advertising purposes.
[대회 평가]
1. 땅고 데 삐스타 부문 (땅고 에쎄나리오를 제외한 모든 Non-Official 카테고리 종목들에도 공통 적용)
(a) 땅고 데 삐스타는 소셜 댄스로 이해되며, 가장 중요한 요소는 즉흥성, 아브라소, 그리고 파트너 간의 커넥션입니다.
(b) 론다 형식으로 춤을 추며, 커플은 LOD에서 계속해서 반시계 방향으로 움직여야 하고, 후진해서는 안되며, 필요 시, 한두 걸음 뒤로 나갈 수는 있지만, 항상 각 커플의 공간 내에서 이루어져야 합니다.
(c) 커플은 자신의 공간뿐만 아니라 다른 커플들의 공간도 인지하고 존중해야 하며, 론다의 흐름을 방해하지 않도록 주의해야 합니다.
(d) 론다 순환을 막거나 방해한 경우, 심사위원은 해당 커플에 대해 감점을 줄 수 있습니다.
(e) 론다 안에서는 추월을 할 수 없으며, 론다에 문제가 있다고 판단하면 심사위원은 론다에 대해 한 곡을 더 춤출지 결정할 수 있습니다.
(f) 론다 안에서는 음악이 끝날 때까지 아브라소를 유지해야 하며, 아브라소가 정확하다고 간주되기 위해서는 한 파트너가 항상 다른 파트너의 포옹 안에 있어야 하며, 일부 동작에서는 유연성이 허용됩니다.
(g) 모든 동작과 피구라는 아브라소가 허용하는 공간 내에서 실행되어야 하며, 다른 커플을 방해하지 않도록 해야합니다.
(h) 일반적으로 사용되는 모든 동작과 피구라는 수행할 수 있으며, 여기에 바리다, 사까다, 엔로스께, 라피스, 간쵸, 볼레오 등이 포함됩니다. 또한 장식적 동작인 아도르노를 사용할 수 있으나, 항상 자신의 공간 내에서 이루어져야 하며, 주변 커플들의 공간을 침범하거나 방해해서는 안 됩니다.
(i) 절대적으로 제외되는 동작은 살또, 두 발이 바닥에서 떨어지는 동작, 그리고 땅고 에세나리오의 고유한 안무 요소입니다.
(j) 심사위원은 각 커플이 다양한 스타일에서 보여주는 개인적인 해석을 주요 평가 기준으로 삼습니다. 뮤지컬리티와 걸음의 우아함은 물론, 무엇보다 커플 간의 커넥션과 그들만의 개성을 추구하는 모습을 고려할 것입니다. 음악의 해석을 존중하면서 동적인 변화와 속도를 조정하는 능력도 평가 기준에 포함됩니다.
(k) 복장은 평가 기준에 포함되지 않으나, 출전 시 단정한 모습을 유지하는 것이 권장됩니다. 복장, 헤어스타일, 메이크업을 선택할 때, 땅고 데 삐스타가 무대 공연이 아닌 소셜 댄스인 점을 염두에 두기 바랍니다.
2. 탱고 에세나리오
(a) 안무는 자신이 선택한 음악에 맞춰 개별적으로 진행하며, 시간은 4분을 초과할 수 없습니다.
(b) 발표 중 실수나 문제가 발생할 경우, 커플의 재량에 따라 계속 진행할 수 있으며, 심사위원은 커플이 문제를 얼마나 우아하고 효과적으로 해결하는지를 평가하지만, 발표는 다시 진행할 수는 없습니다.
(c) 참가 커플의 문제가 아니고 외부 기술적인 문제가 발생할 경우, KTC와 심사위원이 협의하여 재발표 여부를 결정하도록 되어 있습니다.
(d) 안무는 아르헨티나 탱고에 대한 개별적인 비전을 반영할 수 있으며, 이는 전통적인 탱고와 직접적으로 관련되지 않은 동작, 피구라, 기술 등이 포함될 수 있음을 의미하나 안무에는 오초, 히로, 긴 까미나따, 볼레오, 간쵸, 그리고 ‘아브라소 밀롱게로’와 같은 전통적인 탱고 요소가 포함되어야 합니다.
(e) 아브라소는 해제될 수 있으며, 과도하지 않은 다른 댄스 장르의 기술들이 포함될 수 있으나, 이를 논리적이고 전체적인 안무를 향상시킬 수 있을 때만 허용됩니다.
(f) 복장은 안무를 표현하는 평가 요소로 고려될 수 있습니다.
[COMPETITION EVALUATION]
1. Tango de Pista category (also applies to all Non-Official category events except Tango Escenario)
(a) Tango de Pista is understood as a social dance where improvisation, the embrace, and the connection between the couple are most important.
(b) The category will be danced in rounds, with couples moving counterclockwise, without retreating. They may walk one or two steps backward, but always within their own space.
(c) All movements must respect the space of the surrounding couples. (d). If the participants slow down or block the circulation, the jury may lower their score.
(e) If a couple delays the flow of the round, the jury may lower their score. If a couple stops the flow, they may be asked to dance an additional piece to resolve the situation.
(f) Once the participants are formed, they must remain in the embrace throughout the music. For the position to be considered correct, one partner must always be held within the embrace of the other, with flexibility allowed for certain figures.
(g) All movements and figures must be executed within the space allowed by the embrace, without disturbing other couples.
(h) All figures commonly used in "social" tango may be performed, including barridas, floor sacadas, enrosques, lápizes, ganchos, boleos, and adornos, as long as they are within the couple’s space and do not interfere with other couples.
(i) Salto, figures where both feet leave the floor, and any choreographic elements specific to Tango Escenario are strictly prohibited.
(j) The juries will focus on each couple’s personal interpretation of the different styles. While musicality and elegance in movement will be considered, the most important factor is the connection between the couple and their ability to express their own unique identity. This includes adjusting the dynamics and speed in response to the tango being played, while remaining true to its interpretation.
(k) Attire will not be a factor in the evaluation, but participants are encouraged to dress well for their presentations. When selecting attire, hairstyle, and makeup, please keep in mind that Tango de Pista is a social dance, not a stage performance.
2. Tango Escenario
(a) Each couple will perform an individual presentation to a chosen piece of music, not exceeding four (4) minutes.
(b) If there is an issue during the choreography, it will be at the couple's discretion whether to continue. The jury will evaluate how gracefully and effectively the couple resolves the issue, but the performance cannot be repeated.
(c) In case of a technical problem, the Organization of Preliminary, together with the Jury, will assess whether to allow the choreography to be repeated at the end of the designated time slot.
(d) The choreography must include classic tango figures, such as ochos, giros, long caminatas, boleos, ganchos, and the “milonguero embrace.”
(e) The embrace may be broken, and techniques from other dance disciplines may be included, as long as they make sense and enhance the overall presentation.
(f) Attire may be considered as an evaluation factor.

2. 탱고 에세나리오
(a) 안무는 자신이 선택한 음악에 맞춰 개별적으로 진행하며, 시간은 4분을 초과할 수 없습니다.
(b) 발표 중 실수나 문제가 발생할 경우, 커플의 재량에 따라 계속 진행할 수 있으며, 심사위원은 커플이 문제를 얼마나 우아하고 효과적으로 해결하는지를 평가하지만, 발표는 다시 진행할 수는 없습니다.
(c) 참가 커플의 문제가 아니고 외부 기술적인 문제가 발생할 경우, KTC와 심사위원이 협의하여 재발표 여부를 결정하도록 되어 있습니다.
(d) 안무는 아르헨티나 탱고에 대한 개별적인 비전을 반영할 수 있으며, 이는 전통적인 탱고와 직접적으로 관련되지 않은 동작, 피구라, 기술 등이 포함될 수 있음을 의미하나 안무에는 오초, 히로, 긴 까미나따, 볼레오, 간쵸, 그리고 ‘아브라소 밀롱게로’와 같은 전통적인 탱고 요소가 포함되어야 합니다.
(e) 아브라소는 해제될 수 있으며, 과도하지 않은 다른 댄스 장르의 기술들이 포함될 수 있으나, 이를 논리적이고 전체적인 안무를 향상시킬 수 있을 때만 허용됩니다.
(f) 복장은 안무를 표현하는 평가 요소로 고려될 수 있습니다.
[COMPETITION EVALUATION]
1. Tango de Pista category (also applies to all Non-Official category events except Tango Escenario)
(a) Tango de Pista is understood as a social dance where improvisation, the embrace, and the connection between the couple are most important.
(b) The category will be danced in rounds, with couples moving counterclockwise, without retreating. They may walk one or two steps backward, but always within their own space.
(c) All movements must respect the space of the surrounding couples. (d). If the participants slow down or block the circulation, the jury may lower their score.
(e) If a couple delays the flow of the round, the jury may lower their score. If a couple stops the flow, they may be asked to dance an additional piece to resolve the situation.
(f) Once the participants are formed, they must remain in the embrace throughout the music. For the position to be considered correct, one partner must always be held within the embrace of the other, with flexibility allowed for certain figures.
(g) All movements and figures must be executed within the space allowed by the embrace, without disturbing other couples.
(h) All figures commonly used in "social" tango may be performed, including barridas, floor sacadas, enrosques, lápizes, ganchos, boleos, and adornos, as long as they are within the couple’s space and do not interfere with other couples.
(i) Salto, figures where both feet leave the floor, and any choreographic elements specific to Tango Escenario are strictly prohibited.
(j) The juries will focus on each couple’s personal interpretation of the different styles. While musicality and elegance in movement will be considered, the most important factor is the connection between the couple and their ability to express their own unique identity. This includes adjusting the dynamics and speed in response to the tango being played, while remaining true to its interpretation.
(k) Attire will not be a factor in the evaluation, but participants are encouraged to dress well for their presentations. When selecting attire, hairstyle, and makeup, please keep in mind that Tango de Pista is a social dance, not a stage performance.
2. Tango Escenario
(a) Each couple will perform an individual presentation to a chosen piece of music, not exceeding four (4) minutes.
(b) If there is an issue during the choreography, it will be at the couple's discretion whether to continue. The jury will evaluate how gracefully and effectively the couple resolves the issue, but the performance cannot be repeated.
(c) In case of a technical problem, the Organization of Preliminary, together with the Jury, will assess whether to allow the choreography to be repeated at the end of the designated time slot.
(d) The choreography must include classic tango figures, such as ochos, giros, long caminatas, boleos, ganchos, and the “milonguero embrace.”
(e) The embrace may be broken, and techniques from other dance disciplines may be included, as long as they make sense and enhance the overall presentation.
(f) Attire may be considered as an evaluation factor.
